Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
1.1 The "Client" means the person, persons, organisation or company entering into a rental agreement with Rustic by Rebecca for the hire of equipment
1.2 The "Company" means Rustic by Rebecca
1.2 The "Equipment" means any items hired from the company
2. Bookings
2.1 A minimum of a 50% booking deposit will be paid to and held by Rustic by Rebecca. The company can not secure the clients date until the deposit is received.
2.2 The deposit amount can vary dependant on package or equipment booked.
2.3 All equipment remains the property of the company at all times.
2.4 By booking with us either verbally, via e-mail or social media regardless of whether a booking form has been returned or deposit paid it is deemed that the customer has read, understood, fully agreed to and is bound by all our terms and conditions of hire.
2.5 In the event of unforeseen circumstances preventing Rustic by Rebecca from being able to fulfil our contracted obligations our liability shall be limited to a full refund of any monies originally paid. No further compensation will be paid.
2.6 If a client requests to change the booking details (for example, date and/or times) of the hire, we will do our best to rearrange your booking. All booking fees are non-refundable. Notwithstanding this our cancellation policy is as stated in ‘4. Cancellations’. Bookings are non-transferable.
2.7 Rustic by Rebecca accepts no responsibility for bad weather and no refunds will be given in this event.
3. Prices, Deposit & Payments
3.1 All hires are subject to a booking fee which is non-refundable.
3.2 The balance to be paid in full and cleared 4 weeks prior to the event start date.
3.3 Advertised prices are subject to change without prior notification.
3.4 Payment terms will be discussed and agreed at the time of booking. Where we agree to accept payment after the event this must be received within the time specified on the invoice.
3.5 We are able to accept payment by Bank transfer & Paypal. We do not accept payment by cheque.
4. Cancellations
4.1 Any cancelled order is subject to the following cancellation charges:
-Within 8 weeks prior to event 50% of order value
-Within 6 weeks prior to event 75% of order value
-Within 4 weeks prior to event 100% of order value
5. Equipment
5.1 Rustic by Rebecca provides equipment in good working order. The company has the right to withdraw any equipment or decor from a booking due to unforeseen circumstances and circumstances beyond their control.
5.2 Rustic by Rebecca has the right to substitute equipment with different equipment of a similar type and value without notice in the event of previous damage or loss of booked equipment.
5.3 Rustic by Rebecca has the right to amend or alter any product specifications without prior notice.
5.4 All equipment remains the property of Rustic by Rebecca at all times.
6. Venue Location & Facilities
6.1 It is the responsibility of the client to ensure the venue is in agreement to have the equipment set up for the event.
6.2 Rustic by Rebecca has the right to refuse set-up if the client has not notified the company of any obstructions such as excessive loading distances from our vehicle to the venue or if the site on venue is deemed to be unsuitable. In such a case no refund will be given and the full hire fee will be due.
6.3 Equipment will be set up in one location only as agreed upon booking and will not be moved once unloaded. Movement of other equipment must be agreed upon before the day of the event.
6.4 Rustic by Rebecca has the right to cease operation and remove any equipment from site if at any time a representative of the company feels that guests or clients conduct endangers the safety of the guests, clients, themselves or the safety of the equipment. In such cases no refund will be given and full contracted fees will be due to the company.
7. Liability, Damage & Insurance
7.1 A damage deposit of £50 will be paid to and held by Rustic by Rebecca no later than 7 days before the event, and this will be returned in full on collection and inspection of all items hired.
7.2 In the event of any damage or theft of the company’s equipment whilst on hire, the deposit will not be returned.
7.3 If, for any reason, the deposit isn't taken by Rustic by Rebecca or the deposit doesn’t cover the cost of repairing or replacing the damage, an invoice will be issued to the client detailing the amounts due.
7.4 Rustic by Rebecca reserves the right to charge at the daily rate for any late returned equipment.
7.5 Rustic by Rebecca accepts no liability for any damage or loss of personal property and or any injury arising from the use of the hired equipment.
7.6 It is the clients responsibility to ensure that young children are supervised at all times to avoid the risk of injury and ensure that Rustic by Rebecca cannot be held responsible for safety issues which occur from the use of our equipment.
8. Use of photos and video
8.1 Rustic by Rebecca reserve the right to use photos and videos of an event, equipment and participants on social media platforms and promotional literature. Please let us know in writing on the booking form if there are any concerns regarding this.
